A Letter of Thanks to our MAHMA Family
June, 2015Montgomery Arts HouseMalibu, California USA
Dear Friends of MAHMA and the Classical Arts,
As we continue our 2015 Season of Kairos Musical Special Events scheduled for Sunday, June 28th at 5:00 pm, with a performance of Haydn's "Mass in Time of War" at our partner city location in Westwood (Westwood Presbyterian Church on the beautiful Wilshire Corridor), we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you, our honored guests and inspirational artists, for continuing to help our world engage in the search to realize its unlimited potential. The arts are a marvelous outlet for emotion and passion, and the creativity involved, be it from the standpoint of the listener, or of the artistic creator him/herself, raises our minds and our hearts to a much higher plane. The arts have the power to heal, as well as the strength and influence to connect the soul and the intellect. The arts must thrive or our world will surely fall away…
As an active non-profit arts organization, standing strongly, and with great loyalty as a committed member of our community as a whole, the Malibu Friends of Music at the Montgomery Arts House for Music and Architecture, believes wholeheartedly that, “it takes a village." We consider very seriously the role that the arts play in this interface. Thank you for contining to walk the journey with us.
With the very warmest of regards,
Scott Hosfeld, Executive Director Maria Newman, Artistic Director Malibu Friends of Music Montgomery Arts House for Music & Architecture
